ATLANTIS

Atlantis is a simultaneous, multi-channel PC controlled spectrometer designed specifically to analyze solid metallic samples. It is fully configurable with a single or multi-optical system and lends easily to future upgrades. This is ideal solution for low level detection of elements (< 1 ppm)

Optical System (Vacuum)

  • Paschen Rounge optical mount, focal length 750 mm
  • High Luminosity Holographic Grating with 2400 grooves/mm or 3600 grooves/mm depending on the requirements
  • Spectral Range: 120 - 800 nm
  • 1st order dispersion = 0.55 nm/mm
  • 2nd order dispersion = 0.275 nm/mm
  • Resolution - Better than 0.01 nm
  • Provision for future upgrades for multi-matrix analyses
  • Preheated optics for better stability
  • 240 spectral lines available

Source

  • Spark Source specially designed to withstand variations of power supply
  • HEPS technique (High Energy Pre Spark) from 200-1000 Hz
  • Inductance - 120 μF
  • Resistance - 2.2 Ω
  • Capacitors - 2 - 4 - 6 μF
  • Voltage - Variable (300, 400, 500, 600 V)

Thermal Regulation

  • Optical Chamber and electronics mounted in a thermo-controlled environment
  • Temperature always above room temperature
  • System designed to avoid thermal fluctuations

 Spark Stand

  • Spark Stand is cooled by closed water refrigerating system for better stability
  • Dimensions (100 mm * 80 mm) of the spark stand allows for samples up to 20 kg to be analyzed
  • Open spark stand allows for analysis of large samples
  • Security device to prevent the spark if the sample is not on the stand
  • Spark table is easily removable to allow quick and simple cleaning operation
  • "W" electrode can be easily removed for maintenence

Vacuum System

Operational vacuum is provided by means of a two stage vacuum pump in series with high efficiency low noise turbo-molecular pump controlled by vacuum control device for better UV elements detection.
